Itinerary In Details
Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
Depart early from Arusha and drive through the scenic highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy views of the Ngorongoro highlands before entering the endless plains of the Serengeti. Embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s rich wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and, depending on the season, the Great Migration herds.
Day 2: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch predators returning from their nightly hunts. After breakfast, continue your drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with optional stops at a Maasai village. Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim and enjoy breathtaking views of the crater below.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World” due to its dense wildlife population. Spot black rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos along the crater floor. After lunch, return to Arusha where your safari concludes.
