Itinerary In Details
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and vast elephant herds. Enjoy a thrilling full-day game drive where you can also spot lions, leopards, zebras, and wildebeest roaming across the park’s open plains.
Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, journey toward the Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro highlands. Arrive in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and, depending on the season, the Great Migration herds. Experience the beauty of Africa’s most famous savannahs.
Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the best time to spot predators in action. Later, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, optionally stopping at a Maasai village to experience their traditional culture. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in the evening.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this natural wildlife sanctuary. Spot an incredible diversity of animals, including black rhinos, elephants, lions, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.
