Itinerary In Details
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and dense elephant population. Enjoy a full-day game drive, watching for lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest along the Tarangire River.
Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, head towards the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop for a picnic lunch before entering Serengeti for an afternoon game drive. The park is home to the Big Five and the famous Great Migration (seasonal).
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the endless Serengeti plains. Morning and afternoon game drives offer a chance to witness predators like lions and cheetahs in action, along with vast herds of antelope and wildebeest. Optionally, enjoy a hot air balloon safari at sunrise (extra cost).
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy a morning game drive before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you may visit a Maasai village for a glimpse into the local culture. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in the evening to relax and enjoy panoramic views.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling half-day game drive. This natural wonder hosts one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including elephants, lions, hippos, and rare black rhinos. After lunch, drive back to Arusha where your unforgettable safari comes to an end.
