Activities on Materuni Village, Waterfall & Coffee Tour
After breakfast, you’ll depart from Arusha or Moshi and drive through the fertile foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro toward Materuni Village. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your local guide who will lead you on a moderate hike through farms and green hills to reach Materuni Waterfall, where you can relax, swim in the cool natural pool, and take stunning photos.
After your waterfall adventure, you’ll visit a local coffee farm where the Chagga community will show you the traditional coffee-making process — from picking and roasting to grinding and brewing, all accompanied by local songs and stories. You’ll then enjoy a fresh cup of organic coffee that you’ve helped prepare!
Later, you’ll enjoy a delicious homemade local lunch before returning to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
