After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Morning Game Drive & Return to Karatu

Enjoy your final morning game drive through Central Serengeti before beginning your journey toward Karatu. Continue exploring the Serengeti until approximately the same time as your original park entry before departing. Travel through the vast Serengeti plains and the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying additional wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive in Karatu during the late afternoon and check in at Manyara Secret Lodge. Spend the evening relaxing in the peaceful highland surroundings before dinner and overnight.

Discover the World’s Largest Intact Volcanic Caldera

After an early breakfast, drive to the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending approximately 600 metres into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Often referred to as Africa’s Garden of Eden, the crater offers one of the highest concentrations of wildlife anywhere on the continent and provides one of Tanzania’s best opportunities to spot the endangered Black Rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, ascend the crater and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Elephant Kingdom & Ancient Baobab Trees

After an early breakfast, depart for the spectacular Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich parks. Renowned for its enormous elephant herds and iconic ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers a completely different landscape from the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. During your full-day game drive, follow the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, where wildlife gathers throughout the year. Your experienced safari guide will help you search for large elephant families, lions resting beneath acacia trees, elusive leopards, graceful giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and over 550 recorded bird species. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by nature before continuing your afternoon wildlife adventure. Later in the afternoon, leave the park and drive back to Arusha where you’ll check in at Forest Hill Hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

At the appropriate time, your Lowen Safaris representative will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward flight.
